Privacy policy

Last updated: 12.09.25

At Imaginakery Ltd, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and store your information when you use our websites and services.

We know privacy policies usually sound like they were written by a robot lawyer. But we're here to do things differently.

So, here's the deal: we only collect the info we need to make Jungle Squad work for you. No data hoarding, no creepy tracking. If you want your info deleted, just ask. We'll get it sorted.

Got a question? Drop us a line at info@junglesquad.com.

What we collect (and why)

We only collect what we need to keep the Jungle Squad experience running smoothly and to make your experience better and to enable us to communicate efficiently with you about only the things you want us to.

Info you give us:

  • Your name and email when you sign up, play, or get in touch
  • Delivery address if we're shipping rewards, merch or cards
  • Payment info if you buy anything (handled securely by our payment partners -- see more below)
  • Any messages you send us -- messages, feedback, questions; the lot

Info we collect automatically:

  • Your IP address and browser info when you use our site (helps us see what's working and what's not)
  • Cookie data (more on that below)

Info from other places:

  • Updates from our delivery partners
  • Analytics tools that help us understand how you interact with the site

How we use your info

We only use your personal data when we've got a proper reason. The law says that we have to have a proper reason to use your data. That includes:

  • Getting you signed up and giving you access to Jungle Squad features. This is known as our legitimate interest in providing you with the best service that you want and also performing any contract with you to provide those services.
  • Fulfilling any orders or sending physical items, like cards or merch. This is known legally as our performance of a contract with you.
  • Improving the experience, through feedback or usage data. This is known as legitimate interests to make our business better.
  • Email updates, if you've opted in and therefore given your express consent to those email updates. During the sign up process you will be asked to opt in for these. You don't have to and your access won't be any different if you opt out. Even though we use a third party (more on this later on) to send these emails, they can't process your data without us giving them permission to do so and absolutely nothing else. If you're an existing customer, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping you informed about similar products) as our lawful basis for email marketing. Again, you can opt out at any stage.
  • Following the law—the boring but important bit. This is known as our legal obligation.

We'll never sell your data. Ever.

Jungle Squad App

The Jungle Squad app is your gateway to the adventure from collecting cards to unlocking AR-powered fun. And the best part? We don't collect any personal data from it. None.

What we collect through the app

We don't collect personal information from app users. Everything stays safely on your device.

The app stores just two things - and they're both local:

  • Your scanned cards list, so you can track your collection
  • Whether you've completed the in-app tutorial, so you don't see it again

That's it. We don't track, store, or send any data to our servers. Nothing leaves your device.

AR safety and parental supervision

Because Jungle Squad uses Augmented Reality (AR), we follow Google Play's Families Policy and Apple's App Store child safety guidelines.

Whenever AR features are launched, the app will clearly display a safety warning that reminds users to:

  • Use AR under adult supervision
  • Stay aware of their surroundings
  • Avoid physical hazards like walls, furniture, pets, or other people

We also make it clear that no extra gear is needed - Jungle Squad doesn't require headsets or VR devices like Daydream or Oculus. It's all screen-based, designed to be safe for kids.

Designed for kids and families

The Jungle Squad app has been built with kids aged 5-12 in mind and aligns with both:

  • Google Play Families Policy
  • Apple App Store requirements for children's apps

We do not:

  • Collect or store personal data from the app
  • Serve in-app advertising
  • Allow in-app purchases
  • Use third-party tracking tools
  • Share data with any third parties

The app is a safe, self-contained, offline experience.

If you ever have questions about the app or its privacy features, email us at info@junglesquad.com.

Marketing

We'll only send emails if:

  • You've signed up for updates
  • You've made a purchase and haven't opted out

You can unsubscribe any time with a single click. And if you're seeing Jungle Squad ads online after visiting us, that's cookies doing their thing. Want them gone? You've got options. You can also email us at the email address at the end of this document to unsubscribe.

Who we share your info with

We only share your data with third parties who help us:

  • Process payments
  • Deliver items
  • Host or improve our website
  • Send emails or run analytics. We use a third party to send our emails as we explained above. In relation to running analytics, we rely on our legitimate interests to do that and use your data internally for that purpose.

They're under strict instructions to keep your info and data safe and only use it for what we've agreed with them they can use it for and even then only with our instructions.

We may also share your info if legally required to.

Where your data goes

Some of our service providers might be outside the UK or EU and therefore don't provide the same level of protection that we do in the UK and EU. If we share your data with them, we make sure it's protected under approved safeguards (like standard contractual clauses which ensure it is protected to the same level as it would be in the UK or EU).

How long we keep your info

We only keep your data for as long as we need to:

  • Fulfil orders
  • Respond to questions
  • Comply with legal or tax obligations

After that, we delete it or anonymise it. Simple.

  • See the data we've got on you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Say no to marketing
  • Object to certain uses
  • Request your data in a portable format
  • Request restriction of the processing (or use) of your personal information and data

If things go wrong

We've tried to do our best to put in place security to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know it. They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We do everything we can to protect your data. If there's ever a serious breach that affects you, we'll let you know and report it to the relevant authorities.
